Freestyle Figure Skating

Hertz Arena offers U.S.F.S. programs, providing quality programming for the individual, pair, and team competitive figure skaters, combining group and private instruction. Group classes are provided in freestyle, edge quality, synchronized team skating, and ice dance under Learn to Skate USA. In addition the skaters are encouraged to take private lessons from our top rated professional staff. Skaters taking private lessons are responsible for the following costs: ice and instructor.     Schedule is Subject to Change.

Freestyle Guidelines

• Lessons are in 15 minute increments only
• Skaters must sign in and pay at the front desk
• Walk on, Weekly, or unlimited fee must be paid online or at the front desk before taking the ice
• Coach’s fee must be paid at the front desk before skating
• Coaches request a 24 hour cancellation notice, otherwise lesson payment is expected.
• Skater must give their coach a copy of the receipt showing the lesson is paid for before the lesson starts
• Only Coaches listed on the freestyle schedule are permitted by Hertz Arena to teach
• Do not enter the ice surface until the ice resurfacer doors are closed
